Public vs. Private Insurance in Kenya
Private insurance covers the majority of motor, property, life, and health products through licensed commercial insurers. This is where the IRA's complaint process applies directly.
Social Health Authority (SHA) — Kenya reformed its national health system under the Social Health Insurance Act 2023, replacing the National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF).
